Couple Seesmic with Commentag to allow scanning video comments
The main critic about Video comments is that we can’t scan through them as we can do with text comments.
Coupling Seesmic with Commentag would address that issue in a brilliant and innovative way. People could easily tag their video and visitors would be able to filter Video comments based on their topics.
That way, visitors would be able to only play video comments which really interest them.
The website Francofous-seesmic has installed both Wordpress plugins.
So we did. Give it a try!
It all started with Philippe Jeudy who interviewed me at yesterday Paris WordCamp and uploaded live the video to his seesmic account.
I’ve just submitted the idea to Seesmic team. Let’s see what will happen!

I think the best is to give it a try!
The goal of the very first comment with commentag is to define the main tags for the rest of the discussion.
Although anybody can add his own tags, it is always better to settle the main categories in which you want to be able to differentiate comments.
For this discussion, I would like people to tag their video comments with English or French, Love it or Hate it (the idea of mixing seesmic with commentag), New idea, Feedback, Question, Answer, Just for fun, Joke, Troll.
That’s a good start!
Anyway, don’t hesitate to add your own tags as well!

Yeah man! interessant tout ca, faudra que tu propose ton concept (commentag) aux forums du soir ou de la libre parce que c’est la merde! et aussi pourquoi pas l’appliquer aux commentaires qui se répondent les uns aux autres, pour mieux suivre la conversation?
